Payment options

All items must be pre paid prior to delivery. SAIL + SHADE accepts MasterCard, and Visa credit cards. Payments in AUD cash entitle you to a 5% discount.

You can also pay by Electronic Funds Transfer, Money Order or Cheque. We may e-mail you confirming your order and advise you on the alternative methods of payment if you request any of these methods.

Returns Policy

Please note that we only refund costs if the return is a result of our error or the item is damaged in transit.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If your purchase is damaged in transit we will send you a “no charge” replacement, freight free. You will need to return the damaged product to us for assessment.

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If there is damage, please follow these returns instructions-

Email us at sails@sailandshade.com.au within 5 working days of receiving your order indicating the reason for your return.


Sail + Shade will only refund the purchase price and freight charges if a product is returned as a result of our error and/or because of faulty material or workmanship. (in addition to goods damaged in transit – see above)

Method of Refund

Sail + Shade will post you a cheque.

All we ask is that you contact us first to discuss the situation and that if we authorise a return the product arrives in its original condition with its packaging. We will also need a copy of your order confirmation record and goods packing slip / invoice.

Your purchase will be sent by Australia Post Freight or commercial courier if appropriate. The shipping time for your order will depend on your location.

Our policy for pre-made products is to ship items within 5 working days of job completion. If an item is out of stock we will contact you via e-mail in the first instance to let you know the expected delivery date.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot amend or cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process.

You can cancel or amend an order before the item enters the shipping process by sending us an email with your name, email address, order confirmation number together with the details of the changes you wish to make, such as altering delivery instructions or changing the colour of a requested item. Sail + Shade will email you a note confirming the changes have been made.

All prices are shown in Australian Dollars and include GST (where applicable). PLEASE NOTE: Our prices do NOT include any duties, import taxes or the like that your local authorities may or may not impose.
